Exploring Nature with the Well Written group
Friday 15th November

Thinking about the seasons , nature and walking we sat down with a some writing prompts and started to get creative with our words...

Time of the year
Plants and trees are dying back
Not a time I like

Not autumn not winter
It’s neither here nor there
Leaves in abundance

Moves from life to death
There’s soon to be bare of leaves
Garden bare without bloom

Neil Offerd
November 2013

There once was a man at Yew lane,
Who searched for rhyme in vain,
Inspired by the flowers,
He sat there for hours,
But it nearly drove him insane!

Nick Waterfield
November 2013

Poppies in the fields
Dancing in the fancy red skins
There petals blown away

The harvest arrives
The combine cuts the long Corn
The mouse is homeless

Charlotte Killeya

Marking the land
Apparently accurate
Perfect when lost
Spaces, shapes all full of information
